The BIG pro- blem for next year is that a lot of seniors will be leaving, and the team will have to adjust to new players coming off the J.V. team, Players from the J.V. team have been improv- ing in the areas that needed work to help build a strong Varsity team for the '86-'87 season, The Varsity team lost many of its star players at the end of the '85 season, in- cluding Mark Meade, who was number one in receiving, FootballlSports 1 15

Although the Bengals' Varsity Team didn't do so well, R J.V. and the B teams ed out a substantial amount wins last year. The strategy for the Var- sity team was to improve offense and the Bengal kick ing force. This was a year where running the would turn up better did, but the l Varsity Bengal, Lofton Richard helped off the field during the game ofthe season, which was last.
