When looking for personnel to handle a job that no one can do, the officers and crew of the USS Bon- homme Richard look to Deck Department to get the job ; done. Deck Department is a group of highly motivated individuals who pull together with ease. When called upon to perform, they ' re project Navy pride and pro- fessionalism in every thing they do. Who, What, When, Where and how for do you want to move it, are questions that are posed to this tight knit group committed to excellence. A quick response, consider it done! is their only reply. Whether it ' s BMC Soto ' s Well Deck crew setting new records in offloading and onloading the ship; BMC Kunze ' s chain gang dropping the anchor with precision; or their ability as a whole to transfer over 9 million gallons of fuel, you can easily see there is no job too big or too small for this traditional team to handle.
