Wednesday, students came all dressed up in their wild toga's to compete in the licorice relay. Every class did very well. Seniors came in second place, juniors took first place, Sophomores third place, and again in last place, were the Freshman. Competitors still had a great time. Colors were: Seniors - red, ju- niors - blue, Sophomores - white, and the Freshman - red, white and blue. The Sen- iors did a remarkable job in their lip sync, Everybody Run, The Homecoming Queen Has A Gun. So, they came in ISI, Juniors znd., Sophomores grd., and Freshmen in last. I 1 Ir. Classes dressed up like beach bums, wearing their best bermudas, and tank tops, just to stack themselves up on each other and hold it. Monday's class competition was Simon Say's. The competition was continued the next day, due to the tie, between the Juniors, and the Seniors. A first place winner was never cleared. Real Countr Hoedown On the evening of Friday, November 1st, Bolsa's very own girls' gym transformed into a country jamboree for the annual rip-roarin' hoe- down, otherwise known as the Sadie Hawkins Dance! First on the agenda was to get yourself hitched to that special someone! If your partner wasn't so willing to tie the knot, you could re- quest a shotgun wedding. Your unsuspecting victim would be lassoed and dragged over to the ol' hitchen post. wedded bliss only lasted until IO p.m. when the license expired. What comes after the wedding? Why the honeymoon of course.
