One of the most capable non-commission- ed officers in Company A, Jose could be seen every afternoon iotting down the names of those poor individuals who tried to skip drill. .lose was on the baseball team tor three years, and was elected Captain of it during his senior year. Hosey plans to attend Harvard this coming fall where he will probably dwell on the subject of medicine. I LEONARD F. BELLINGRATH PINE BLUFF, ARKANSAS Entered '5l, Assd. Co. B, Conduct Bar, Varsity Tennis Team. Arkansas was well represented by Len during his stay here at Balles, and he will be missed by all when he leaves to attend Ole Miss to learn a little of the college life there. He had a ready sense of humor that could be heard dur- ing Senior English and Physics classes. Many of his comments and remarks will go down in the annals of Bolles School. He was constantly striving to improve his game of tennis, and could be found every afternoon out on the courts blast- ing away at that ole ball. Always looking for an unsuspecting victim, he usually found one or two and kept iust two jumps ahead of the Powers-That-Be in his constant en- deavor to blow up his roommate or do some other harmless little prank. Among his hobbies were tinkering with radios. This hobby brought about some unusual effects in his radio. Ot course, he could always get it repaired over the weekend. In Harry's first year, he received an award for excellence in typing, another of his interests was swimming. He was usually at his best when trying to con- vince Captain Horton that the smoke com- ing out of his room was not smoke at all, but rather a heavy fog moving in from the river.
