NV 14715 June 1985 Dear Seniors: George Leonard in his book Education and Ecstasy says, To learn is to change. Education is a process that changes the learner.... I hope that the past thirteen years have allowed you to change and to grow so you can meet the challenges that are ahead. For many of you, formal schooling will continue at the college or university level. For others, the world of work or military service will be in the future. For all of you, the process of education will continue, as education is a lifelong journey. The author George Woodberry once said, Education has really only one basic factor -one must want it! I hope we at Bolivar Central School have given you the desire to want it. Use the skills and knowledges you have acquired at B.C.S. to learn more about the world in which you live.
