We further leave the following bequests: The Senior Class of 195U leaves rest and peace to all of the teachers as a result of our absence. We leave our thanks and gratitude to our advisor Miss Duggan, who has struggled with us for three years. We wish we could leave a 1955 Cadalliac to Mr. Dodson since the driving members in our class haven't left too much of the present car. The Tear: 1970 The Place: Bolivar, New York, second latest manufacturing city on the map. I have just arrived home from B.C.S. after a week of hard work and laying aside all homework, I am preparing for a weekend of relaxation. Glancing over the television schedule, I spot several programs which are a must in ny book: Vernon Prentice's newest movie, Wake Up And Live , the Milton Berle show now taken over by that clown, Fred Tapp, Doug Shaner's famous advise to the lovelorn, and an address to the women of the nation on Why we should support the hat industry , by Grace Baker, first women president of the United Staten. So far, Grace has done a wonderful job, although she has had a little trouble from the radical labor leader, Fred Tompkins, who advocates a two hour working week. Grace is no doubt aided greatly by her earlier political career in her high school years. Clicking on the T.V., I proceed to light up an Atomic Special Cigarette , guaranteed to give more blowing power. These have recently been put out by Mrs. Richard Wainman, the former Jane Dillie, who has opened up her business in Little Genessee. Also, no evening would be complete without an ice cold bottle of Pabst Beer. The famous president of the Pabst Company is Tom Crowley, who has stormed the country with a five cent beer. He has just taken his fourth wife and rumors say he has a in his eyes when looking at his new secretary. Later on this evening I am planning a little social life with the girls, that is, just as soon as my car is returned from Ruth Fisk's Automatic Body and Tire Garage. Ruth has become very well known for her aid to distressed girl drivers with blowouts. She has also had the honor of servicing autos for Hector Tubbs and Shirley Tubbs, the famous dare devils of the raceway. Hector and his new limozine have recently set a record of 200 m.p.h. without having it wide open. Friday night: First on the list for entertainment tonight is the coliseum. Joan Stoll has become the floor manager and it is an amusing sight to see her husband. Bob, teaching their twelve children to jitterbug. Sally Ingalls, world's Olympic Roller Skating Champion, is making a guest appearance there tonight. The ride down is an enjoyable one, full of beautiful seenery, including the new rocket designed home of Mrs. Ronald Sisson, the former Beverly Melat, and her husband. They are now planning a huge reunion of the class of 5U. We are now passing Lee Jordan's 1,000 acre farm, which has made him the leading agriculturist in the U.S. Next i3 Bob Monroe's thirty acre chicken farm. He is completely devoted to his chickens and comes into our metropolis only on Saturday nights. Going on a little farther we come to the rivaling estates of Joyce Loucks and Theda Wedge. Joyce is the founder of the Ceres Old Maids Home, and Theda has opened a home for all quiet girls. The competition is great and sparks really fly sometimes. Saturday afternoon: At the moment I am home again, watching television as usual, and reading Audrey Root's newest novel, Why Talk . Audrey's secret marriage to Kenneth Dunshie made the headlines last month. The news commentator is giving the latest on progress in science. Floyd Olmstead and William Bush are being honored at a banquet in Washington this week. Floyd has captured the coveted Nobel Peace Prize for inventing a machine which has kept international peace for sixteen years. Wm. Bush has gained renown as the inventor of a colapsible balcony for modern Romeos and Juliets. Dick Brundage, society playboy, has recently flown In Egypt, where he was welcomed by the leader of the country. He has gained m ch popularity there and is waited on continually by beautiful girls. His comment: Hy lifes' desire is now fulfilled. (continued) Handsome Eugene Kuhn has arrived in America via American Airlines. He was on a hunting expedition in darkest Africa where he often retreats to escape flirtacious women. Lois Glase returned to the states with her multimillionaire husband, whom she met while nursing. Saturday night: Tonight is truly an exceptional one in ny social life. My escort is Chester ifoinehults, famed aviator whi has now broken the sound barrier in the fastest speed ever achieved by man. (He always was a fast kid.') We are taking in Dick Ryan's latest Hollywood hit, Singing in the Fog , with Marjorie Main and later attending a cocktail party at Diamond Bill Gray's pent house. Diamond Bill is the owner of a string of hotels throughout the country. As we enter the party we spot a number of visiting celeberities, Mrs. G. Holdrldge, the former Barbara Parker, and her husband, George, are present. They are now top crime lawyers in the professional world, replacing the once famous, Mr. and Mrs. North. Larry Rockerfeller and his native wife have ret imed from the South Sea Islands. Larry started out on a solo journey over the Pacific Ocean on a rubber raft. Mrs. Montgomery Clift, the former Nancy Smith, just made a bubbling entrance. She and Monty , as she calls him, have been in Europe for the last two years making a picture. Before leaving the party we see Kathryn Galbreath, fashion designer, flirting around in one of her wonderful creations. She met a millionaire in New York City and tied the wedding knot. Sunday afternoon: Guests at church this morning were Rev. Mrs. David Heme, the former Janet Pr sher and her husband, who have been doing missionary work in Heno. After listening to their inspiring sermon, I am ready to settle down and tackle my homework for Monday. Miss (Blanche) Green, head of our home economics department certainly piles it on. We are also studying the short cut formulas of Bob Potter, who has Just completed his fourth year of teaching math at Columbia University, and the much quoted speeches of Natalie Tucker, noted professor at Harvard University. Her most familiar subject is Keeping Students in School. It certainly seemed good to come into contact with the members of tije class of '5U' again. They seem to have all prospered in the years, many becoming world famous. No doubt this is partially due to the wonderful training they received in good old Bolivar Central School. One thing that they all seemed to have in common: They were still comparing tales on the magnificent trip to New York Cityt ACTIVITIES Left to Right; Mrs. Foster, Mrs. Hurd, Mrs. Ford, Mrs. Childs S8us drivers Left to Right; D. Dillia. klDDLE ME RICHES Se Uwi Play Pop worked hard for a riddle for the Riddle Me Riches Program and was egged on by Chuck who was flushed with success from a previous contest. He and Chuck won, and for the next two weeks you never saw such a harassed family. Boxes of candy were stacked up so high that they overflowed into a warehouse. Canned soup was everywhere. A live horse, a basement full of whining puppies, and pink house paint were amoung the least of the beneficent gifts. The neighbors were fathers' boss and wife—a stuffy, overbearing couple who tried to turn the Taylors' success to their own advantage. Chuck fell fpr a glamourous movie star who's visit was part of the loot, while he ignored cute little Susie, who admired him ardently. Everybody had a few heartaches and a profitable lesson before the venture was over. Five of their losses were close ones, three of them being forced to overtimes. Two were lost be one point scores, to Cuba 38-37, and Wellsville, U3-U2. Two were lost by two points, to Canisteo, 58-56, in a double overtime, and U7-U5 to Port-ville. The first Richburg game was lost by a three point margin, 39-36.
