FOREWORD The mystic cords of memory enhance life’s cherished moments and surround them with an aura of enchantment that time cannot efface. But memory, left to itself, grows dim and must be refreshed if our impressions would remain vivid. Hence, we present this edition of the Gusher as a source of remembrances — a record of days filled with fun and excitement; of accomplishments in the classroom and on the athletic field; of ideals fostered; of friendships cemented. As you shuffle the pages of your yearbook, may you find real pleasure in recapturing the joys -perhaps even the sorrows - of years spent within the walls of B. C. S. r crj£ DEDICATION Anthony P. Perron© Principal of Bolivar Central School A 0 We, the class of 1952, in appreciation for his help, understanding, and friendship, dedicate this, our Gusher, to our Principal, Mr. Perrone. i v 3 ADMINISTRATION Chester M. This year’s team continued to make history by having a third straight undefeated season and copping, for the fifth consecutive time, the Alle-Catt Championship. The second Oil Bowl game was again successful as Bolivar turned back St. Bernard’s of Bradford 25-0. Bolivar boasted one of the best defensive records in the area, having only 26 points scored against them throughout the season.
