MI.MAN L. NEUGENT Junior President Senior President Cheer Leader, 4 S£II10R CLASS HISTORy WE CAME as Freshmen into a new category and found ourselves bewildered at our lack of knowledge. High School seemed so large, and we—so small. As Sophomores, our power to charm was still undetermined; however, we easily overcame the obstacles, which we encountered in our second year, and set our hearts on an even more successful Junior year. Success was triumphant in this year under the capable leadership of our President, Lillian Neugent, and of our Class Adviser, Miss Pauline Darrohn. Our play, “And Home Came l ed,” was the most outstanding event on the class calendar. This was followed by our Junior Prom and memorable Junior and Senior Banquet. Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and at last our Senior year—our Mecca. The curtain rose on our supreme feature of the year, “Campus Quarantine.” We are elated over our successes of the past few years. We are indebted to a great degree to Miss Pauline Darrohn, our adviser, for her untiring efforts in helping us to accomplish our aims. Our debt of gratitude does not stop here, but extends to our President, Lillian Neugent. Lillian’s executive ability has placed her in the foremost ranks of the Senior Class. Her charm has earned for her the respect and affection of her classmates. 14
