N : , . . , Sports Revzefw The Bokoshe T1g6TS were 1D the mldst of one of the1r most successful seasons at the publ1cat1on of thls yearbook On January 24 as we went to press they were leadlng the LeFlore County Basketball Conference w1th three games to go They also have two tournaments yet to play They advanced to the seml finals of the Fanshawe Inv1tat1onal Tournament before b0W1ng to Wlster the eventual champ1on Instead of play1ng 1D the LeF1ore County Distrlct Bokoshe, along wxth Splro w1l1 probably go to Sa1l1saw The Tigers went to the seml finals before loslng to Webbers Falls last year A new electric clock and scoreboard were 1nsta1led in the gymDaS1Um early ln the season to make Bokoshe one of the f1nest equlpped teams The Bokoshe g1rls, p1ay1ng mostly w1th an eye to next year have been golng along slowly, g1ving the1r Sophomores and Freshmen more experlence And by next year they should have a w1nn1ng COmb1Dat10h They beat McCurta1n ID two games and tled one w1th them and several of the leading teams have been g1ven a good scare Fanshawe the conference leader beat them only tour polnts So the glrls record now stands at 2 won 11 lost and l t1ed Wlth three games and two tournaments to go The baseball team showed sxgns of a flne team when last tall they spllt a two game serles wlth Keota, one of the trongest teams 1n th1s area, so in the spring Bokoshe should have another conference contender 1n baseball I 7 .
