February 8, 1 , . A. Eugene Richardson was chosen as president, Mit- chel Mann as Vice-president, and Irene Povell as secretary-treasurer. Je feel that our club is select because only students having HAH or HBH averages are eligible for membership. - The social committee deserves special mention because it planned so delightfully our greatest event--The Popcorn Socialn, which was held May 7 in the gymnasium. This social was an event long looked forward to and it was an occasion of much envy from students who vere not members. Je are grateful to hr. Gardener for his coop- eration and readiness to help us. Then, too,-we do think that everyone of us has added to his knowledge from the interesting programs which have been planned by our program committe We sincerely hope o g ment each year as the new and old members carry forward the organization of which we, the mem- bers of 1940, have been the pioneers. f r a still reater improve GLEE CLUB The Bokoshe glee club, which was organized in September, has had very few public appearances, but the hour of practice have been pleasant one ASSEMBLY PROGRAMS The assembly programs of this year, which hav been held each Thursday, have been put on by the The vere tarted by the seniors, and classes y then vent on down the line to the eighth grade ever These programs have been oleasant ones to y one of us JOKES Teacher what doe nfurluu h mean?
