Automotive i,.,1-va ff -1' ' ,J ,Xxxg xv x Xi rl The purpose of the automotive maintenance course is to train allfaround mechanics who can make repairs or adjustments to any part of an automobile. The student is given a thorough foundation training in the general principles, construction, and servicing of automobiles. His training includes lubrication, front end and steering alignment, brake service, engine, clutch and transmission maintef nance, electrical diagnosis and correction, motor tunefup and carburetion, body and fender straightening, and automotive refinishing. Students are given instruction in the use of machine shop and welding tools and equipment and in reading' and understanding blueprints. The advanced work provides for experience in service shop operation, using modern testing equipment on modern cars and providing specializaton in such fields as body and fender, motor, or ignition work. ,Y Maintenance Heres a knocking indeed' M.ACBETH VVe must away . . .
