In Memoriam MRS. HARWOOD By Kay Tracy, Senior '58 Though far from us today she wanders In memory here she lingers yet. Her quiet, gentle, loving presence Is one our heart cannot forget. We remember yet her friendship warm, Her soothing voice, her gentle ways-- And our memory quicxly taxes us To our glorious first-grade days. Each morning she was there to greet us, To listen to our childish schemes. Each day she helped us in our lessons And taught us to pursue our dreams. She cheered us on when we were sad She helped us when we stumbled. She listened to our cares each day And soothed us when we grumbled. when ways are hard and studies dreary In memory return and reach her.
