It is the duty of this council to emphasize religion as a part of college life and encourage members ot the student body to participate in the various denominational clubs. Members of the council worked hard on the annual Christmas Pageant and the two iiresides held in Morrison Hall, as well as con- tinuing the programs of Wednesday devotionals. Leading activities were Mike Hally, president: Shari Paris, vice- president: and Sandra Compton, secretary-treasurer. Advisors of the group were Dr. Paul Baker and Mrs. H. K. Fritchman.

Each year .these students vie for trophies and medals. obtained through the entree of Experts and Novices. The winner of the Experts has his name engraved on the White Stag Giant Slalom Trophy which holds a permanent place in President Chaffee's office. This year marked the tenth annual occurrence of this event. Among the many activities that kept these industrious people busy was the participation of the group in the Intermountain Conference Meet at Snow Basin on March Z. where they received second place. Officers were: president. Harry Iones: vice-president. Gib Walsh: secretary-treasurer, Bobbi Maki: racing chairman, Gene Courtney: and advisor, Dr. Donald Obee.
