- - --f---A-- -. un. .J--denim mr, orraiqnt Qacuf Most Boise high school teachers have been here a number of years. Yet each year there are changes. During the past year two teachers departed in the middle ot the year. Mr. Donald Foltz, Vocal music instructor, was called to a tine position in Detroit. Miss Karen Kield- sen went away after Christmas. Mr. Howard Deye, instrumental music teacher, resigned last summer to accept a position at Ellens- burg, Washington. Captain Eugene R. Guild, R.O.T.C. instructor, was transferred. The school extends to these teachers the best of wishes. Their work will be remembered many long years. Page 17

What it Boise high should wake up some morning with a completely new set ot teachers, all the way from benign, veteran Mr. lohn Sawyer clown to the petite Misses Dorothy Lentest and Grace lohn' ston? lt can't happen, ot course. But maybe the thought brings out more vividly the part the faculty plays in school lite. Most of these teachers have been here much longer than any student. They have their varied interests but all are interested in helping students. They have a lot to do with making school lite what it is . . . and it is, after all, a happy lite.
