In The Student Council is a service organization representing the entire student body. All clubs and activities of the school must be approved by this organization. Each year the main project of the Student Council is to support its Korean orphan, Kim Mai Ja. This year money for her support was raised through a candy sale. The primary purpose of this organization is to pro- vide a democratic student government in Bogota High School where questions of interest to the student body may be discussed. Each homeroom has a representative whose duty is to keep his homeroom informed with the CounciI's decisions and activities. The election of Student Council ofticers is an important springtime event. There is inevitably a great deal of confusion in finding and contacting all the members of the class due to a change in name or addressg therefore a committee has been fonned to eliminate this problem. It would be helpful if every year, perhaps during the Christmas season, any member of the Class of '59 who has had a change of name or address would contact his designatctl representative. Likewise if il reprtsentative has a change in address or name he or she will notify the people in that group. These committee members will then send their reports to Peggie Bellavigna, the class secretary. In five years the committee will meet and decide upon the place and time of the re union. All the members of the class will then be notified, The committee members' names and the last initials of the people in that members' group are listed below.
