Trips were taken to such places as the Planetarium, Museum of Natu- ral History, Lederle Laborato- ries, N.B.C. Studios, and the Garry Moore Television Show. Selected on the basis of scholarship, leadership, cooperation, and charac- ter, Tri-Hi-Y members are junior and senior girls who are vitally interested in high standards of living and service to school and community. To maintain this program, their many projects include the Red Cross drive, the March of Dimes, lunch room duty, office duty, ushering at school affairs, favors for hospital patients, a Mother-Daughter Tea, and Father-Daughter Fun Night, World Service projects, and special guest speakers. REFEREE' CLUB Any girl in Bogota High School is eligible for membership in the Referee's Club. Members are trained in the tech- niques of officiating at games as well as given a background of knowledge of official women's rules. The club meets once a week to practice officiat- ing the sport of the season. In addition, the better officials are selected to offi- ciate at intramurals, class tournaments. and playdays.
