We, the Year Book Staff of the Class of 1947 present this book to you, to read, to enioy, and to help in remembering the familiar faces and good times at Bogota High School. In addition, there is a true and fitting line we wish to add to each senior poem .... is a splendid person who can make a success of whatever hefshe undertakes, and we wish himfher all the luck in the world. TO THE FACULTY which has worked with us throughout our high school years we would like to give our wholehearted thanks and appreciation for enriching our lives with their guidance, help, and understanding. 2 With deep and sincere appreciation the Class of 1947 dedicates this yearbook to MRS. CHARLOTTE BURT whose artistic ability has made possible the attrac- tive sets for Bogota High's plays and programs, whose untiring elliorts have directed the making of posters, programs, and art displays for the school and the community, and whose inspiration, patience, and cheerfulness have encouraged many of her students to enter art as a profession. MISS KATHERINE BULLARD whose culinary art has provided us with daily lunches, with banquets and dinners for special occasions, whose able assistance has made the appropriate costuming of characters.an integral part of the plays, and whose kind advice and cheerfully given help have made the class work in clothing and cooking eliicient and practical. 3 Mrs. Charlotte Burt ,CL Miss Katherine Bullard EARL E.
