HALL OF FAME Bruce Clliott Plummer Bruce, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Plummer, was active and gained recognition throughout his high school career. Athletically inclined, Bruce played football, basketball, and baseball for four years, plus participated in track events his freshman year. Bruce placed All-District in football for two years, All-District in baseball for three years, All-District in basketball his senior yearg All-State in baseball his senior year: Honorable Mention All-State in basketball: and was chosen to play in the Louisiana All-Star Baseball game. Bruce was awarded the Don Short Award and the Daily News Award for his achievements. John Robert Porretto John, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Porretto, participated in many activities throughout his high school years. John, an honor graduate, was a member ofthe Key Club for four years, serving as secretary and president. He played on the tennis and golf team while at BHS. John was a member of the Golden B Honor Society, the Beta Club, the Student Council, the Axe Staff, PKT, serving as sweetheart, and the Spanish Club. John attended Boy's State during his senior year, and he was awarded the Happy Edmonson Memorial Trust Fund Scholar- ship. Susan Renee Pusa Susan, daughter of Mrs. Charlotte Branch, gained honor and re- spect in many ways throughout her high school career. Susan, an honor graduate, was a member of the Golden B Honor Society, the Beta Club, and the Spanish Club for three years. She attended the District Literary Rally in Algebra II and physics. Susan was a BHS cheerleader her junior and senior yearsg a member of Torch service club, serving as president, and a member of Keyettes. She enjoyed participating in the senior class play. Susan was awarded the Trustees Academic Scholarship and the American Legion Award. 44 Hall of Fame

X 4,.,,.l Mary Amanda Lee Mary, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lee, was truly an out-going and friendly, as well as dedicated, member of her class. Mary excelled in school spirit being a cheerleader her senior year and by playing basketball for three years. She was a member of Torch, serving as pledge captain: the LUMBERJACK staff, the Spanish Club, and the 1982 Homecoming Court. Mary was an active member of the Student Council, holding the office of presi- dent for her sophomore and senior years. Mary participated in the senior class play and was a homeroom representative all four years while at BHS. Orlando Charles Luna'ie Orlando Butter Lundie, son ofMrs. Ida Faye Lundie, excelled in athletic excellence during his four years at BHS. Butter actively played football, basketball, and baseball, placing All-District in all of these sports, his junior and senior years. Butter was awarded M.V.P. in the district and MVP state-wide in football, placing All- State his senior year. Monica Lynette Martin Monica, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Wells, showed herself to be an active and dedicated senior. Monica was a three- year member of the Band, a BHS Paperdoll, serving as captain her senior year, a member of Torch. Keyettes, the Axe staff, the French Club and the Advisory Board, Vice-president of her senior class, Monica attended Girls' State and participated in the senior play. She is listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students. Hall of Fame 43

Lillian Martina Ratlzff Tina, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Ratliff, led a high school career filled with many activities and achievements. Tina was a member of the Jackettes, FBLA, 4-H, Spartanettes, the Spanish Club, the Axe staff, and the Lady Jacks basketball team. She attended the District Literary Rally in general business, placed 2nd in the district as a Foreign Language Festival participant, won the International Foreign Language Award, and was named 82's Lady Trackster. Edward Fitzgerald Sarlin Ed, son of Mr. and Mrs. Attie Sartin, distinguished himselfin all of his endeavors. Ed was a four-year member of the Chorus, serving as president his sophomore year and vice-president his senior year: a member of the Key Club for three years, serving as vice-presi- dent, and Beta Phi, serving as president. Ed, an honor graduate, played football all four years, and was a member of the Student Council, the Golden BM Honor Society, and the Beta Club. Ed attended the District Rally in chorus and was awarded the Dilliard University Alumni Scholarship Award. Randall Mark Wager Randy, son of Rev. and Mrs. Wilton Wager, established himself as one of the outstanding seniors through his service and dedication to BHS. Randy, an honor graduate, was a member of the Band, serving as lieutenant hisjunior year and captain his senior year. He was a member of the Chorus, Beta Phi, Key Club, and the Axe staff, serving as editor-in-chief. Randy attended the District Liter- ary Rally in civics and Algebra I, qualifying in the state rally in civics. He enjoyed participating in the senior class play. Randy was awarded the United States National Band Award and the United States American Achievement Award. He was selected for the Louisiana All-Star Marching Band and is listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students. Hall of Fame 45
