HALL OF FAME Clayton Edward Jackson Clayton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgie Jackson, established him- self as one of the outstanding seniors through his service and dedi- cation to BHS. Clayton was a member of the Beta Club, the Golden B Honor Society the LUMBERJACK staff, the Student Council, the Advisory Board, and the Modest Club, serving as vice- president his junior year and president his senior year. Proving academic excellence, Clayton was awarded the Central Memorial High School Class of 1960 Award, the Big Brother Award, the Service and Character Award, the Business of English Award, and a Southern University Alumni Scholarship Award. Clayton is list- ed in the Who's Who Among American High School Students. Bryan Douglas Kemp Bryan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Kemp, distinguished him- self as a true leader of the senior class. Not only was Bryan Vale- dictorian of his class, but he was also President of the student body. Bryan was a three-year member of the Beta Clubg a four-year member of Key Club, serving as treasurerg the Golden BU Honor Societyg the Student Councilg and the Mayor's Advisory Board. He attended the District Literary Rally in Algebra l, geometry, Eng- lish III and advanced math, qualifying for the state rally in geome- try. Bryan attended Boys' State his senior year and was a member ofthe French Club for two years, serving as president his junior year. Bryan was awarded the Bausch and Lomb Science Award, the Charles Genco Memorial Scholarship Award, and the Ameri- can Legion Award. Susan Margaret Knight Susan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Knight, established an outstanding record of achievements and activities during her years at BHS. Susan was a four-year member ofthe Band. the Flag Corps, Beta Club, and the Golden B Honor Society. She was a member of Keyettes, holding the office of historiang BTS, serving as vice-president: the Axe staffg the Student Councilg and the Advisory Board. An honor graduate, Susan attended the District Literary Rally in English her sophomore year, and placed 2nd in the Louisiana Bar ASSOCIATION ESSAY CONTEST. She was Flag Corps lieutenant and captain, and was named to the All-Star Marching Band. Susan was awarded the American Legion Auxil- iary Award, the Chamber of Commerce Service Award, and the Helen C. Holbrook French Award. 42 Hall of Fame

Mary Melissa F ertdlason Mary, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Fendlason, showed herself to be an active and dedicated senior. Mary, an honor gra- duate, was a representative for two years in the Student Council, was a one-year Band member, and a two-year member of the Paperdolls. Showing leadership abilities, Mary was a two-year member of Keyettes, serving as president, and a three-year mem- ber of 4K, serving as vice-president. She was a member of the Beta Club for three years, the Golden B Honor Society for two years, the French Club, and the Tanda Horizons . Mary also participated in the senior class play and the 1982 Homecoming Court. Mary won the Science Project Award, and is listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students. Clayton Boyd Foreman Clay, the son of Mrs. Maxina Foreman, proved to be an athletic and academic achiever. Clay played football and basketball all four years of high school, winning the Mack Harvey Award in basketball, Team Captain Award in football, and making All- District in football for two years. Clay, an honor graduate, was a Student Council Class Officer, a two-year member of the Beta Club and the Golden B',Honor Society, a member of FHA, and a PKT sweetheart. Melissa Yvette Frazier Missy, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Frazier, led a high school career filled with many activiities and achievements. She was a two-year member of the Beta Club and the Golden B Honor Society, the Spartanettes, serving as secretary and presi- dentg and the Chorus. Leading her class in school spirit, Missy was a member of the BHS Cheerleaders for four years, winning All- District Cheerleader. Proving academic achievement, Missy, an honor graduate, was awarded the American Legion Junior and Senior Auxiliary Award, the Bogalusa Association of Educators Award, Central Memorial High School Class of 1962 Award, Dilliard University Alumni Scholarship, and Dillard University Academic Scholarship. X 4,.,,.l Mary Amanda Lee Mary, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lee, was truly an out-going and friendly, as well as dedicated, member of her class. Mary excelled in school spirit being a cheerleader her senior year and by playing basketball for three years. She was a member of Torch, serving as pledge captain: the LUMBERJACK staff, the Spanish Club, and the 1982 Homecoming Court. Mary was an active member of the Student Council, holding the office of presi- dent for her sophomore and senior years. Mary participated in the senior class play and was a homeroom representative all four years while at BHS. Orlando Charles Luna'ie Orlando Butter Lundie, son ofMrs. Ida Faye Lundie, excelled in athletic excellence during his four years at BHS. Butter actively played football, basketball, and baseball, placing All-District in all of these sports, his junior and senior years. Butter was awarded M.V.P. in the district and MVP state-wide in football, placing All- State his senior year. Monica Lynette Martin Monica, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Wells, showed herself to be an active and dedicated senior. Monica was a three- year member of the Band, a BHS Paperdoll, serving as captain her senior year, a member of Torch. Keyettes, the Axe staff, the French Club and the Advisory Board, Vice-president of her senior class, Monica attended Girls' State and participated in the senior play.
