HALL OF FAME Ruth Estelle Branch Ruth, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Leroy Branch, showed her ability to be successful in many ways. She was a three-year member of the BHS Band and a two-year member of the Flag Corps, serving as lieutenant in both organizations. She was named Outstanding .Iunior Band Member and was a participant in the Honor Band. Proving her academic achievements, Ruth was a member of the Golden B Honor Society four years, and entered the District Literary Rally in biology, spelling, and trigonometry, qualifying for the state rally in spelling. Ruth was a member of AST for three years, holding the office of workshop captain, pledge captain, and vice-president, a member of the Axe staff for two years, and a three-year member of Beta Club. Ruth is listed in the Who's Who Among American High School Students. Kimberly Anne Brister Kim, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Brister, established herself as one of the most distinguised seniors through her activities and achievements. Kim was a three-year member of BTS, serving as treasurer her senior year, and a two-year member of Keyettes, serving as vice-president. Kim attended Girls' State, was a member of the l982 Homecoming Court, and worked as co-editor of the Axe staff. Participating actively in the BHS Band, Kim was a four-year mem- ber, serving as Drum Major her junior and senior years. She was honored by winning the United States National Band Award. Also, Kim was a member of the Flag Corps for two years, serving as co- captain. Roger Timothy Brown Tim, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Brown, founded himself as a prominent senior through his activities and achievements. Salutatori- an of his class, Tim Showed academic excellence attending the Dis- trict Literary Rally in French II, French III, and English IV, qualify- ing for the state rally in French II and III. Tim was a four-year member of Beta Club, serving as President his senior year, and a two- year member of the Student Council. Tim participated in the social science fair, placing first in political science. He was awarded the Board of Trustees scholarship to SLU. Enjoying foreign language, Tim was a member of the French Club, the Latin Club, and the Spanish Club. Tim was given the DAR Good Citizen Award to add to his list of achievements. 40 Hall of Fame
