The Day It Rczined and Ruined and Ruined The rains came. They destroyed many hours of hard work that were spent in preparation of the Homecom- ing parade. Soggy flowers, floats, and decorations disappointed many, but the Lumberjack spirit was never dam- pened. There were 39 entries in the parade. 4K won first place, Torch and BTS tied for second, and PKT placed third. For the traditional presentation of the Homecoming court, the atmosphere was calm and composed. But when the presentation was completed, the audi- torium was filled with a violent burst of energy, generated by the student body. The power and fury of the school's spirit was even more pronounced at the Homecoming game when the Jacks plucked the Eagles 21-6. l. The 1982 Homecoming Court being presented to the student body. 2.
