AST Has Productive Year AST Service Club had an exciting and productive year. The school year began with numerous summer work- shops in preparation for the upcoming football season and Bid Day. ln Sep- tember, Adrian Nunn, Terri Hill, Shei- la Gerald, Angela Rogen, and Kim Galloway accepted AST bids. Spring bids brought more new faces to the club, including Helen Quave, Connie Gill, Angie Thomas, Leslie Ungar, and sweetheart Jason McGehee. With each meeting, workshop, project, or bar-b- que, AST members were brought clos- er together in lasting friendship. 1. AST emblem. 2. All smiles is AST member Sheila Gerald. 3. fr 4K's Float The 1982-83 school year was a busy one for 4K Service Club. Continuing a tradition of community involvement, 4K sponsored a political rally for all parish candidates and worked in the campaigns. Six new members were added on Bid Day and managed to sur- vive informal initiation. Football sea- son kept the girls busy making spirit banners. At Homecoming, the 4K float took first place. The annual spaghetti dinner, raffles, and car washes rounded out the year's money-making activities. Formal initiation, the Senior Banquet and installation of officers were formal highlights. 4k made plans for summer camp to be held in Panama City Beach. l. 4K shows club spirit. 2. 1983 pledges: Kellie Wins First Stillwell, Carolyn McGinness, Samantha Sharp, Titiana Fournet, and Nicki Clinton. 3.
