Y Christmas Party Highlights Year For Keyettes Service projects for the community kept the Keyettes busy during the 1982-83 school year. Singing Hallow- een songs for the students at Nellie Byers, giving needy children a Christ- mas party complete with Santa Claus and presents, and presenting their grandmother at Rest Haven a bas- ket of fruit were among these pro- jects. The girls also welcomed new members at the formal initiation ceremony held at the Freight House. To complete this year, the Keyettes elected officers and presented gifts to the seniors at the senior banquet. l. 1982-83 Keyette members: Monica Martin, Christi McDaniel, KayKay Knight, Cheryl Harris, Elena Kelahan. ---J ,if 'f at 3, 2 - 3 Practice Makes Perfect Thanks to the BHS Paperdolls, half- time at football games was never bor- ing. Performing their dance routines to a variety of popular songs, the Paper- dolls proved not only to be talented, but also school spirited. Aided by their sponsor, Mrs. Beth Breland, the Paper- dolls, precision-preformances ranged from g'Pac-Man Fever to We Got The Beatu, among others.
