FFA Provides Farming At Its Best When a student enters the schedul- ing arena and selects Agriculture I, II, Ill, and IV, there is an extra activity that they automatically become part offthe BHS Chapter of FFA. The Bo- galusa Chapter enjoyed an active year with 170 active members. Many mon- ey-making projects kept the members busy, such as selling sausage, FFA caps, tickets to car washes, and horse shows. Displaying all kinds of prize livestock, the FFA members also par- ticipated in parish, district, and state shows. The small engine team won a 3rd place at LSU's judging contestg FFA also entered the Parlimentary Procedure and Public Speaking contest held in Washington Parish. Under the leadership of Billy Passman and Rod- ney Brown, activities for FFA were planned in great detail at monthly meetings. All in all, FFA had a pros- perous and exciting year, continuing in thier tradition at Bogalusa High School. l. FFA Club. 2. Officers.
