During the year FHA sold assorted styles of Boerne Greyhound jackets. With the money they raised, they had a Valentine's Day banquet at Victoria's and had a wonderful time. During the Christmas season, they con- tributed to the Christmas spirit by bringing broken toys and fixing them to be given to the children around Boerne. The year turned out to be a very caring and giv- ing one. FHA 93

The Pride of the Hill Countr , Summer rehearsals were just the beginning of the work that went into the 1984-85 band's success. When school started, the band had early morning practice. Due to the construction at the high school the band was forced to use the middle school band hall. This was also the year that the band received new uniforms. Drum Major Paul Adrain and Asst. Drum Major Thearon Landrum. Marching contest left the band with the rating of a ll. ln the spring, the band benefited with a Il in concert and a l in sightreading at the Ull. concert and sightreading concert. For a money raiser the band sold Boerne Greyhound shirts. This money was used for the band's spring trip. . si' Band Director - Mr. Blatchford. The members of the Greyhound Marching Band. 94 BAND
