Within a period of 2 years we hope to give a scholarship away to a B.H.S. student who is going into a medical field. s They took a field trip to U.T.S.A. Computer Science Club The Computer Science Club officially became a campus organization this year. Club members had a computer matching fund-raiser. Participants were mat- ched up with ten people who were compatible. Club members also competed at the Westlake Computer Tournament and took third place overall. Th members enjoyed learning more about compute technology from their sponsor, Mrs. Shirley Owen and keeping up with new ideas and concepts in thl field. Vocational Indu trial ' Club of America VICA, or Auto Mechanics class, as it is known, is one of the most productive groups on campus at Boerne High School. ln addition to a two-year program for students seriously interested in pursuing a mechanical career, students have the opportunity to build or rebuild cars for themselves and others. Hands-on ex- perience also is gained by servicing the entire fleet of buses of the Boerne ISD. The local chapter of VICA has been sponsored by Mr. Vernon Hicks for many years.
