French Club The French Club had a productive year, considering members went on an extended llfield trip, to Pari: that it was the first year they had been organized. A France. The purpose of the club is to foster an appreciation of German culture. The German Club held manyfield trips and many fun ac- tivities such as having a Christmas party and singing Christmas songs at the nursing homes. They also collected food and gifts for a local needy family. The German Club held a spring field trip and party. They gave a scholarship to a senior planning to study foreign languages at the high school level. The club also competed in Sprachfest, this was one of three regional high school German competitions.
