The 1984-85 student council had a very good year despite some complica- tions with the Valentines Dance. The Lady Grey- hounds were in Regional play-offs during the dance. But the crowd was still large enough for everyone to have a good time. The Student Council was also represented at the monthly School Board meetings by a council of- ficer. That officer would give reports to the Board on the Student Council's various activities. This was, undoubtedly, one of the hardest working councils. Y p Because of the success of the science club this year, S450 in research grants were awarded to students in the club, so that they could conduct scientific studies. Besides the research grants, a S250 scholarship was awarded to a science club senior. The Science Club officers.
