A I BHS Student Work By working in outside jobs, Boerne High School students prepared themselves for adult life. They worked with others, gained on-the-job experience of the business world, learned to handle pressure, and best of all earned money! Through such programs as Distributive Education, VICA, and CVAE students gained enough knowledge QS ggi-t 'RH lm N nu .l johnny Taylor and Martin Corona use office equipment in CVAE. Mr. Hicks instructs students in Auto Mechanics. 6 OPENING to compete with older people for work. Luckily, there were many businessmen in Boerne willing to hire these enterprising youths. It took a special kind of student to be able to hold a job, meet that job's various demands, and keep their grades up. These BHS entrepreneurs had a head start in life! Melissa Uecker does bookkeeping at KCR Equipment Co. l Laura Kight spends her time at a desk at KCA.
