As a big contrast to the usual jeans and tee shirts, Seniors and their dates came to the 1976 Prom wearing tuxes and long dresses. They enjoyed an evening of entertaining music by Ole Limousine. Beatle songs, 50's music, and many popular songs were among the selections performed by the group. The elegant atmosphere of the Don Cesar provided the perfect setting for a memorable evening. The night concluded with Steve Flanigan singing the theme song of the Prom, Stairway to Heaven.

To an almost filled auditorium on October 30th, the Music Department presented a Pop Concert which included a variety of pop music numbers from How to Succeedn to MacArthur Park. In addition to the Choir's numbers, Senior, Iunior, and Sophomore Baker's Dozens, and Golden Belles each sang two popular songs. Also, Choir members with special talents performed individu- ally. Then the Iazz Band, formed only last year, rounded off the con- cert with the performance of four numbers, their greatest hit for the night being the Fourth Dynasty.
