Boca Ciega's 74-75 Football got off to a strong start by winning the Jamboree at the Northeast High School game. The team followed up by winning four important games against Clearwater, Dixie, Lake- wood, and St. Pete. Largo and Northeast, the top two teams in the county, both slipped by Bogie in the final three minutes of each game. Under the leadership of Captains Al Teague and Greg Ahrens, Bogie had one of the strongest defenses in the county. Frank Mclntyre, the other tri-captain, added to Bogie's attack by being one of the leading ground gainers in the league. Bogie placed six players on the All City Team, topping all the city teams. Although Bogie is losing 21 letter- men, the future of Pirate football is not dim. This year's team had many outstanding iuniors and sopho- mores who will be aided greatly by the upcoming freshmen who fin- ished in second place in county standings. 6 Salute GREG AHRENS Tri-Capt.
