W 4 1 The Get-Acquainted Tea was sponsored by the Student Council for the purpose of acquainting the new students and their parents with the school. dership classes help to train the officers to do a llter job. E Student Council gave a Christmas basket to the dy :dent aides helped to keep the lunch periods run- ig smoothly at all times. CTIVITIES MAKE YE R BRIGHTER The Student Council helps to develop a closer re- lationship between the students, administration, and faculty and helps to promote better school spirit and self-reliance. The school year began with the Get-Acquainted Dance and Tea. Early in September, leadership classes were held for officers training for the class offices and members of Student Council The Council sponsors Homecoming activities and Ex- change Day and several dances throughout the year including a record hop after the basketball games. Among its many projects are: a gift to the school, selling Boca Ciega pens, and basketball programs, promoting school spirit campaigns, sending gifts to the Crippled Children's Hospital and a gift basket to a needy family.

The inter-Club-Council is one of the three the Student Government. The ICC promotes better Iationship between the many clubs in school and faculty. Its membership is made up ot one represe tive and an alternate from each recognized club school. Each club must have its constitution ratified the ICC. The activity point system which regulates ex curricular activities is enforced by the ICC. It sponsors candy apple sales twice monthly, the mo from which is used for its school improvement proie
