JANITOR RETIRE AFTER 35 YEARS The son of John Mark Wornell, the well known Blum pioneer doctor, Johnny Wornell has been a resident of Blum for sixty years. He has worked tirelessly and conscientiously for the Blum school system for thirty years as custodian. Seldom a school day passed when this janitor was not the first to arrive or the last to leave. In June of 1960, Mr. Wornell married Miss Sue Haynes. He has two sons, six grand- children, and one great granddaughter. When questioned by our staff as to his retirement plans, he replied, Just take life easy.
