Bluffton College is dedicated to total commitment to God. It exists to help young people to prepare for dedicated living. Real dedication involves oneis whole life. There can be no restricted areas. no closed compartments. The writer of Proverbs states that if we acknowledge God in all of our ways. he will direct our paths. 13:63 This guidance involves constant contact with the source of our direction. Furthermore. it does not come without thought and effort on our part. This is true on both the individual and the institutional level. This direction is complicated bv the fact that not all committed institutions or committed individuals agree fully on all details of Gods direction. Somehow he permits some individuality and varietv even in his direction of committed lives. Rather than being confused bv this fact. however. we should proceed with confidence and vigor in the path which Cod directs us. believing that if we have really sought praverfullv. the wav he directs is the right wav for us.
