RETURNING to Bluffton in September to claim the elevation and distinction ac- companying the name sophomore , forty-two would-be sophisticates proceeded to assert themselves in their new position. Mindful of the preceding September, October and November, interest was cen- tered upon the education of the younger college generation, the freshmen. The sophomores reigned put on berets, rose giving would mean and upper classmen. When it was thought that the new class had lost a sufficient amount Of its V erdant tinge, the supercilious sophomores turned to other activities.
