Senors and Senoritas Shout “Ole Spanish Club officers and sponsors are Kathy Kaade, Kathy Sills, Vicki Grandlinard, Nancy Dold, Mr. Kelty, and Mr. Shalley. Meeting once a month, the Don Quixotes endeavored to familiarize themselves with Spanish cultures and customs. Mr. Shalley supervised the club ' s many activities throughout the year. At the annual Spanish Club Banquet, held in April, the members enjoyed Mexican food. Also highlighting the activities was a trip to Taylor University to view the widely ac¬ claimed drama Don Quixote. Dabblers Strive for Artistic Perfection Under the supervision of its new sponsor, Mrs. Robert Sorrels, the Dabblers Club participated in several local and national contests, including the Wells County Fine Arts Festival, the Tri Kappa Art Show, and the Scholastic Art Contest. Along with President Jan Wimmer, Vice Presi¬ dent David Phillips, Secretary Cheryl Biberstine, and Treasurer Melba FHahn, the Dabblers raised funds to help finance their annual trip to Chicago. Once again Art Club members served as judges in the Christmas door decorating con¬ test. Mrs. Sorrels evaluates Bob ' s work.

Latin Club Revives Roman Culture With the largest membership in many years, Latin Club afforded students a look into clas¬ sical culture. Various aspects of Roman life were presented through means of a film on archeol¬ ogy, a discussion of Latin in the Catholic Church by Monsignor James Conroy, mythology con¬ tests, and a session on Latin music. Social events on the club ' s calendar included the autumn initiation, the Saturnalia festival in December, and the annual spring banquet. Latin Club sponsor was Mrs. Bodkin; officers were J. Meyer, pres.; M. Phillips, vice pres.; M. Baumgartner, sec.; C. Nowak, treas.
