UNDERSTUDIES Pushing onward in their high school years is the Junior Class. At the first of the year class elections were held, which resulted in the election of Gene Jackson, president, to lead the class through this year. His assistants were Fred Grandlienard, vice president; Barbara Buckner, treasurer; Jean McElderry, secretary; and Guy Stew¬ art, representative on the Athletic Council. Soon after the beginning of the school year the juniors held a rummage sale. This proved so successful that they held another near the end of the first semester. Shortly after Christmas all those having the credits of a junior purchased their class rings or pins. 26
