,i '.1 ' f SSH., Qkarmpqcrf Miss Sturgis and L. E. Teinplin were selected as our class advisers. Both of these two faculty lnelnbers have great ability and we are very proud of them, indeed. During the fall we journeyed to the home of Paul Uaps and enjoyed ourselves by feasting upon the principal product of a water- inelon patch. It might be added that the inelons were furnished by a At- x S 2 F 'y inelnber of our class, Harold Krinn. We had our share of nien in all iq 'j athletic activities this year as in all years previous to this one. Taber, 1 R j Crandall in football, Elliott, in basketball, and Wasson, in baseball. 4 1 l ollowing the custom of this school, the Seniors put on the class ' if f play The Glorious Girl, a musical comedy, in which talent was ex- X , hihited throughout. the play. S ' The class was clamoring for another party, so it was decided at Q class meeting that we go to the hoine of Max Wibel. A splendid time was B enjoyed by all. The next thing that happened to the class was the Junior X reception. The Seniors apparently enjoyed this event greatly for the Q hour was late when everyone had departed. Before gradutaing we held ,S q l a Senior class banquet. Here ends the history of the senior classy the E banner of cream and crimson no longer floats within the walls of B. 3 Qlafzog cb 'WWA Senior Class History The class of twenty-four started its eventful career under the able leadership of Miss Shively. Our class oificers were: Alonzo lh-ickley, president, Kathryn Thomas, vice president, Clarence llartlemay, secre- tary, and Martha Rose Morris, treasurer. The freshmen were very much appreciated when it came to the basketball season and also the track meet, for Spud Harshman and Lonney Ilrickley were hard to beat. The first year passed with amazing rapidity. that is, for most of us, and we no longer had to occupy the rear pews of the old high school assembly. The next year of our story at ll. H. S. was also very successful, in fact we caused the teachers no annoyance whatever, so busy were we, the class of twenty-four, as Sophoinores. With the class under the lead- ership of Henry Brown president, Mary Buckner, vice president, Made- lyn Markley, secretary and Martha Rose Morris, treasurer, success was our lot for another year. The class was entertained at the home of Eva lfhalfant and everybody went home not regretting that they had chosen that place for their hayride. Shuey,' gave his usual line of jokes and we all laughed-reinem ber ? The third year, our Junior year, was with a line of intelligent peppy otficers. They were. Kathryn Thomas, president, Alonzo Iirick- ley, vice president, Homer Markley, treasurer 5 and Dorothy Alspach, secretary. This year we chose our rings and pins which were extremely unique and beautiful. The one great success of the year was the Comet. All previous sales records were shattered and we put- out the best Comet that li. H. S. had seen in many a day. The girls' basketball tbillll came out with flying colors in the inter-class contest.. The class held a. St. Plt1'llli9 Day party It the Cherry Street gym. We went over the top with the Red UIOSS and the other classics soon followed oul mxamph. l ln, last and best event of the year w as the Junioi Reception lseceptions may come and go but this one will be iemembeied by all who lttendc d IS the best.
