Allen County Council, Reporter. TREASURER Seniors Enjoy Last Year in B. H. S. Each year one class leaves the school and goes forth to take its place in this rapidly chang- ing world. After twelve years of schooling it doesn't seem possible that it is now our tum to leave. lt seems only a short time ago, that wide- eyed with excitment, We entered the building as seventh graders. With Darlene Bechtel as president, we soon made our presence known. Under the leadership of lean Frick We as- sumed the role of eighth graders. We made remarkable progress in music, athletics, and scholarship. We felt even more green as freshmen and looked upon the seniors with envy. No task was too hard for us to try as we were guided through the year by our president, Shirley Burry. ln our sophomore year the picture presented even more allurement. The responsibility of leadership was carried by Ronald Lora. At last we attained the rank of upper-class- men as We started our fifth lap as juniors. Led by lean Kempf, We found that the most outstand- ing events of the year were, the junior-senior prom and the class play, Papa was a Preacher. Now at last We are seniors, and this year has been the most exciting of all. Our play, Girl Shy, was a great success5 and with class pro- jects and the class trip, We were kept very busy. As we leave Bluffton High School with a min- gled feeling of joy cmd sadness, we, the class of 1956, say to you juniors, Under your leader- ship may the school carry on its traditions cmd may you bring much honor to the school. You Will carry With you always our sincere wishes for your success.
