Barry Corson Vice President Dale Hochstettler . .Secretary-Treasurer The members of the class of ‘56 were very proud to be freshmen this year and to take part in many school activities. The freshman class holds a very defi- nite position in the personality of the high school. Those who were athletic- ally inclined were members of the foot- ball and basketball teams and G.A.A. Others enjoyed band and orchestra. Future farmers and homemakers {faith- fully attended F.F.A. and F.H.A. One member was a drum majorette, and three members were reserve cheerlead- ers. As far as pep and school spirit is concerned, the freshman class is not lacking. They wish also, to express their many thanks to Miss Slusser, who devoted much time and effort in helping make their freshman year a most suc- cessful one. SEATED: Chidester, J. This year they are honored to have representing their class, Dorothy Stratton as head majorette and Nora Preto as one of the varsity cheerleaders. Skippy Mahoney, a varsity football player, received hon- orable mention from the Western Buck- eye League, The thing the class looked forward to most was their class rings. During the year the class worked on several money-making projects with the help of their advisor, Mr. Howe.
