Varsity B is an organization which is of great interest to many of our boys. It is open to all boys who have completed one season of a major sport. Its purpose is to promote good sportsmanship among the boys not only within the school but also with other schools. A certain standard of points is set up by which those who have eamed them are awarded letters. In every school there should be something for girls as well as boys to do on the order of physical activity. This is the purpose of the Girls' Athletic Association in our school. We try to develop interests in wide varieties of activities to keep all the girls interested. This'year's program included hayrides, biking, skating, swimming, basketball, softball, volleyball, kick lall, table tennis, and playing in the noon hour intramural games. Club members also enjoy good sportsmanship and fellowship with girls from other schools through exchange meetings. They developa sense ot fair play and learn to cooperate with others. This organization was formed last fall after the regular Vocational Agri- culture course was discontinued. This group is made up of seven members of the former group. The group has a choice of several different projects consisting of livestock and crops. The organization also has varied activities including school parties and have a series of parties with the Future Homemakers of America. The organization plays basketball with groups of other Future Farmers- of America of nearby towns. We are working with the 4-H and since this is a state-Wide organization, there is a possibility oi some members of our group being able to attend the 4-H camp, which is in practice every summer. 'I'his camp is open to all members of 4-H work. In class we discuss various methods of farming and farm management. Our teacher and advisor is Mr. Buhler.
