H. A., G. A. A., Y-Teens, Hi-Y, F. F. A., Varsity B , and the Cutlass staff are some of the clubs and activities in which our class members participate. Many of the boys are mem- bers of the football and basketball squads. Though We are only Sophomores we feel honored to play such an important part in extra curricular activities. Three of the five first string basketball players and also two of the cheer- leaders are from our class. It doesn't seem possible does it? The forty-seven members of the Iunior class are very active and talented. They are eager to participate in all clubs and organizations whose membership is offered to them. Among these are Y-Teens, Hi-Y, Varsity B, F. F. A., F. H. A., Cutlass reporters and associate editors, Student Senate, Student Patrol, G. A. A., and various athletic teams. .. ' . 5 K v V - X r - P3 Along with all activities the Iuniors have worked hard to raise money for the Iunior-Senior Prom, and toward their senior trip. This was done by various undertakings such as serving banquets, selling at games, and the Iunior play, Sparkling Sixteen. We, the class of 1952 are very proud to have reached the worthy title of Freshmen . The various activities take up much of the spare time of our class members. The girls are active in F. H. A. and G. A. A. Varsity B claims many of our boys. We also contribute many of our talents to the Band, Orchestra and Glee Clubs, and one of our classmates is a cheerleader. As far as pep and school spirit are concerned anyone who knows us surely realizes that we are not lacking in this. Although we havejust passed through our third year in Iunior High School we, as Fresh- men, feel that we have taken a big step toward the goal of dignified seniors. President ......... ..
