N] Nj THE raduating, we the Seniors of ' 61, respectively and with great pleasure present to you the GRIZZLY. emote in our mind is the idea of dedicating this book to one person. Instead planted in our hearts is the thought of making this produc- tion a monument to all America. nspired by the desire to symbolize the responsible and vigorous youth, we endeavored to create a book which would have sp ecial reminis- cences for those who adorned its pages. ealously, we strived to develop a piece of work to honor the soil tiller, the backbone of our country. We grasped the idea of making this yearbook a token of respect to our pertinacious forefathers who planted and cultivated the many fruits of freedom so that we might live prosperously in an indivisible nation, under God. estfully we physically nourish our bodys with nature ' s bounty. Everything needed for survival may be secured from within the earth’s crust, on the earth, or in this land of varied and equal op- portunities. oving the vision of America, the land of the free and the home of the brave; cherishing the sight of Old Glory unfurled in a zepher; and knowing that as we enter the harbor of New York City the Statue of Liberty will greet us; we pledge ourselves to preserve, protect, and defend the constitution of The United States.
