The Bonfire During Homecoming week, Oct. 15-19, 1979 several events took place. Oct. 17 crazy hats were worn. There were contests held to see who had the craziest hats. On Oct. 18 we had to see who could dress the tackiest. Oct. 19 you were to wear blue and gold. On Wed- nesday night Oct. 17 we had a bonfire but to everyone’s surprise it wouldn’t light. Everything was used from play books to toilet paper. After an hour of trying to get it started and finally lit the band played a few songs. Afterwards the students along with the parents and cheerleaders got fired upped with some cheers. Everyone appeared to be having a great time. 30 Homecoming
