Welcome tO Fantasy Island There was only one element missing from the prom — Mr. Roark and Tatoo were not there to greet us as we arrived! In- stead, ‘‘Harvest’’ was there to entertain us with the latest hits. Ms. Blackwell, head sponsor for the prom, rounded juniors up to work on decorations dur- ing the week before the “big night’. Even though there was a lack of interest on some of the Junior's part, the final product turned out beautifully. The theme, ‘Fantasy Island,” was portrayed by a small island in the center of the gymnasium. The island was surrounded by bamboo and palm trees and the ceiling was covered with blue, yellow, and green streamers. The dance floor was con- sistently filled with couples dancing to the latest hits played by the band ‘‘Harvest’’.
