Baronettes: Second Place in District The Baronettes finished the 1979 softball season with a second place in the District Tournament. The season started off with a bang, but tapered off to some extent toward the end of the season. Coach Miriam Hughey gave it her all since the ’79 season was her last with the Baronettes.
