Yearbook Adds Color For the first time in four years the yearbook started their book by being in the black. Also, with the help of Mr. Biggs the Golden Link featured the Seniors in color, another first. Members of the staff attended the Yearbook workshop held in the Fall at University Va. Ly With a baseball field that was in desperate need of repairs, the season went ex- ceptionally well. “At the beginning of the season the players were not looking their best,’’ says Coach Bowles, ‘‘plus there was lots of rainy weather which resulted in several cancelled games.”’ The players commented on the long school bus rides be- ing uncomfortable, but if we won it helped to ease the discomfort. The defense hurt the team (giving up many runs) but the offense was good enough to get the BARONS’ third place. Baseball 11
