The students must also have an in- terest in a Biological related career. The club placed hanging plants in the cafeteria as an- other way to inspire people to appreciate all life forms. This year ' s Beta Club got off to a roaring start with the new members plunging head first into money-mak- ing activities — namely making stew. After quite a few set backs, the club finally came out with a profit after three days of hard work and stew stirring. One member was quoted as saying, . . . and to this day, my car STILL smells like that sorry Brunswick Stew. Foreign languages . . . SPANISH The Spanish Club took a trip to Raleigh to hear Jose Greco, a lec- turer and famous foreign dancer. Along with Mrs. Anderson, the or- ganizations sponsor and new teach- er, the club went Christmas caroling in Clarksville.
