The A Cappella choir is an organization of forty-five members who participate in musi- cal activities throughout the year. The main function of this organization is to present con- certs for the student body and for other groups in the community. Each sp r ing, the choir takes part in the County Music Festival and some members are selected to attend All- State Chorus. But these talented musicians par- ticipate in many other activities. They ex- pressed in music the real spirit of the holiday season at our Christmas assembly. Then too, our band was rated by judges at the County Band Festival this spring, and some members were chosen to go to All-State Band. In Janu- ary, some band members represented Blue- field High School at All County Band.
