The Key Club is a service club for boys from the tenth, ele venth and twelfth grades in high school. Although the Key Club is similar to other school organizations, it differs in its sponsor- ship, its aims, and its programs. First, the Key Club is unique for it is spon- sored in co-operation with the school officials by the local Kiwanis Club, an association of leading business and professional men in the community. Secondly, the Key Club is unique for its goal of the development of initiative, leadership, and good citizenship. Lastly, the Key Club is unparalleled in its service program. Not only does the Key Club provide the school with many services which make it a more pleasant place for students and teachers alike, but it goes into the commimity as well to undertakevarious prljects for the bene- fit of the entire city. The Keyette Club is a new organization to B. H. S. Affiliated with the Kiwanis Club Inter- national, it was organized December, 1962, and became active February, 1963. Potential mem- bers write paragraphs showing their interest in the organization: these paragraphs are judged, and the writers of the best ones are selected as members. The Keyettes is a. school and com- munity service club. This year's projects in- clude pen pals, charity drives, and a magazine ., .1 f drive. Members of the Latin Club, or the Junior Classical League, seek to study the influence of Latin on the modern world. Not only do they learn, but they have fun doing it!
